![]() ![]() He was so loved by so many, including Michael and Amy, who visited him often. He sadly crossed the rainbow bridge on August 4th, 2020 in the arms of his family. Alcove is a special needs dog who spent his last seven months in a loving foster home with a Speranza volunteer. We also named a very special pup after Alcove. Alcove has donated so much - dozens and dozens of plush blankets and comforters for the dogs, all of the drinks for Pumpkinfest 2019, food, toys, treats…. They don’t want the attention or credit, but they more than deserve it. Fresno Bully Rescue (FBR) is a volunteer-based, non-profit, no-kill rescue and shelter dedicated to rescuing bully breed dogs (i.e. Keystone Signs made us some decals for the Gator so that we can proudly display the Alcove Counseling Service for all to see. We use it for feeding, transporting hay/straw bales, projects around the farm and so much more. The Gator can hold so much and can easily get anywhere on the farm. So, Amy and Michael decided to donate a John Deere Gator!! We have had the Gator on the farm for a few months now, and it really has changed daily life for our farm volunteers - especially with our growing herd. The golf cart has seen better days and really isn’t the ideal vehicle to do the growing chore list at the farm. We did a lot of brainstorming and finally decided that they would help make a background dream come true.įor years, Speranza has used the Guido family gold cart to do daily farm chores, such as taking hay and straw bales, grain and water to various pastures and shelters. There are a few rescues in Ohio who accept pit bull type dogs or will assist. We rescues dogs and cats, puppies and kittens, from high-kill. After seeing the abundance of Pit bulls in shelters we decided to try to do something about it. Pibbles & More Animal Rescue was started with the belief that no animal should die unwanted. Michael and Amy, the owners of Alcove Counseling Services, have been long time supporters of Speranza, however in 2019 they approached up about taking it up a notch - or ten! Michael and Amy wanted to help make an impact at Speranza that would be a game changer. You can also call your local utility company and ask them to install remote. Educating the public about responsible pet ownership through adoption as opposed to purchase. ![]()
